Your comment about finding a sunny windowsill in winter applies equally well here.David Veltenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07710293718143454000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6125578595363888138.post-28754353093787378112015-03-08T13:10:09.621-04:002015-03-08T13:10:09.621-04:00Sounds like a very well thought-out rig. Plus you can get them in a 6 bulb fixture, pricey but would work really well with a 4 tray set up.David Veltenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07710293718143454000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6125578595363888138.post-33586520901978557922015-03-04T11:28:58.714-05:002015-03-04T11:28:58.714-05:00That looks like a great setup. But as I grow more and more plants, I am quickly running out of space. The lights are only 2 bulb reflectors and perform very well if the trays are lined up lengthwise. There is enough room to place them widthwise - and I would be able to fit 4 trays on each level instead of 2 - but then I would run into the same problem you had - the light wouldn't reach the long ends of the trays. I'll probably look into replacing the lights at some point - once I get desperate enough for the extra space ;)Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15949946977793864054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6125578595363888138.post-88608629789372021342015-03-02T10:18:51.305-05:002015-03-02T10:18:51.305-05:00That is much nicer than that lights that I have.
